A piston rod, is well known as connecting rod. It connects the piston to the crankshaft in an engine. The piston rod allows power to be transmitted from a controlled explosion in the cylinder to the crankshaft, and to the push rods and lifters, depending on whether the engine has an overhead camshaft or has a standard camshaft. There is one piston rod per cylinder in internal combustion engines. The manufacturing process and raw materials of the piston rods will directly affect its service life. Ck45 Hard Chrome Rod Chromed Piston Rod processed by more than ten processing, made by steel bar in material CK45, 20MnV6, 42CrMo4, SUS304, SUS316 etc.. Dia. Precision level of f7 tolerance, surface hardness min. HV900.
Chrome layer thickness 20-50micron can be choice, Salt spray test 60-90hours.
Induction hardened hardness HRC55±2, hardened depth 0.5-3.5mm can be choice.
